The stuff im looking for is like the stuff they use in movies, no words, just "ahhhhhhh" and stuff liek that you know. As you can tell my knowledge with it is about as low as you can get, so I'd appreciate any recommendations.

thanks

The first thing that pops to my head is Neptune from The Planets by Gustav Holst. Very beautiful. It is orchestra and wordless womens chorus.

I am sure there is more but I can't think of any. I would suggest concentrating on 20th century composers to find this.

Now that I think of it, there is a section from the Nutcracker (complete ballet - end of 1st act) that uses a wordless boy's chorus. One of my favorite sections.

It's probably not what you're looking for, but Penderecki and Ligeti both compose using voice without words, but it's pretty experimental stuff.
