I'm with you guys Tomorrow Never Dies is my favorite Brosnan Bond too. I think it contains the best David Arnold score too.

My favorite Bond movies by decade

1960s - You Only Live Twice (Goldfinger close behind)
1970s - The Spy Who Loved Me
1980s - The Living Daylights
1990s - Tomorrow Never Dies
2000s - Casino Royale (my favorite Daniel Craig Bond)
2010s - Skyfall

Btw director John Glen in his autobiography mentions Licence to Kill as his personal favorite of the 5 Bond films he directed.

I like a lot of the 70s Bond films.
Thunderball is my favorite of the 60s I think.

I need to see SPECTRE again. I see QUANTUM as an aberrant fever dream in the series. :D

My favorite Bond experience in the theater was THE SPY WHO LOVED ME.

I saw a screening of spy in Omaha with my wife. Richard Kiel was also in attendance and I had him sign my spy and Moonraker Jeff Marshall lithographs.
It was fantastic to see a classic 007 film in a theater. It’s a great one too.

I missed the roger Moore double feature 2 years ago and was disappointed. Hopefully more 007 films are screened this year and in the future.
that was my one and only screening of an older one.

I’d love to do bondstars but it’s so expensive and it’s a busy time of life for me with a young family.

My most controversial Bond opinion: The Man with the Golden Gun is my favorite Moore Bond film. Like, by FAR. I love it dearly and I don’t care who knows it!

You’re not the only one!

My favorite Moore films are Golden Gun and Moonraker.

The Man With The Golden Gun was the first Bond movie I saw on the big screen so I have very fond memories of that one. I had grown up viewing the Bonds on the ABC Sunday Night movie and was excited to be seeing this one at the theater. Such a great swagger by Moore as Bond. I also enjoyed the fact Tattoo seemed to be more in control than Scaramanga. Not much in common with the novel but a very entertaining film.

I love Golden Gun as well.
Some of the 007 films are now on Netflix.
No good reason but I had to watch a few minutes of it on that service. Of course I have all the 007 films on Blu Ray.

I think it’s similar to when the bond films were on tv or thanksgiving marathons. I just had to watch them. I miss those.

I remember there being something like “15 Days of 007” that TBS did every year (when they still referred to themselves as the “Superstation”). At least one of the years they had John Cleese do commercial bumpers that were really fun.

Has James Bond finally met his match???

I don't understand your issue here.

So it's coming on April 8 instead of Valentine's Day 2020. The sky isn't falling. That's not even that long of a delay, all things considered. There is no evidence that the production is in trouble.

We can wait another two months.

Also, it's worth noting that Universal (which has international distribution rights to Bond 25) had the next Fast and the Furious movie on April 8, 2020 until today. They moved it to to Memorial Day. So obviously that's why April 8 was chosen; Universal already had that date locked in and was able to, essentially, give it to Bond instead by moving its only major competition away from there.

So neither films will be fast to theaters which will
Leave fans furious.

I hope Daniel can leave on an all time high.

If the past two decades are any indication, they’ll still bring back Purvis and Wade after Burns has had his turn.

I know it's difficult if not impossible to judge screenwriters based on what ultimately makes it to the screen, but what is it that keeps drawing the producers back to Purvis & Wade? Let Him Have It is the only decently written film they've been involved with and that was their first one.

I'm not sure if they'd have time for that. They're supposed to start shooting in March or April, so they're already working with a very tight timetable. If they don't like what Burns delivers, they'll have to delay the movie again in order to have time to fix it.

And delay the release of the UHd 007 Blu Ray discs? Perish the thought.

Hope third time is the charm for Bond 25!!!

I’ve lost my charm!

I wasn't actually suggesting that they *will* delay the movie. I was just saying that they would have to if they don't find the script turned in by Burns to be satisfactory. Chances are that they will like what Burns does and they'll shoot that on schedule.

However, I will absolutely say that, should another delay become necessary, having the 25th movie be good is more important than having the UHD discs released by a certain date.
