Last time it was reported, apparently Apple and Amazon joined the Bond 25 bidding war to fight for the rights to the James Bond franchise, and it was last month. Not to mention, Warner Bros. is currently the most aggressive studio to secure the co-financing and distribution rights to the new Jame Bond movie, but MGM is still quiet about a new deal. (I even called up MGM, but a woman working there doesn't understand what I was trying to tell her, and I did leave a voice message for the president of the motion picture department). I'm still rooting for Warner Bros. over Sony since they've made some recent movies with MGM, and I sure hope a deal like this happens very soon.
