Blake Edwards used more of Julie’s body in S.O.B too.

Fox Searchlight: The Good Thief, The Banger Sisters and In America.
Why was this done?Twilight Time release of The River’s Edge. Good colour, clean print, lovely quality. One of Anthony Quinn’s better performances too.
But HOW DARE THEY CUT OFF THE FOX CINEMASCOPE IDENT?
I bought the HD digital stream from iTunes last September for $4.99. I watched it yesterday and didn't think it looked that badly.I just bought the digital streaming version of the 1939 film The Rains Came from Amazon for $10—and I regret it. Watching it was a grim experience—and not just because of the disaster and deaths in the film. The print itself is sometimes scratched, speckled, warped, etc. The Rains Came could use a restoration, but now that Disney owns Fox I'm wondering if it will ever happen....

Amazon is my least favorite service PQ-wise. I think both, iTunes and Vudu are superior in that regard.Hmmm. I wonder if iTunes has a restored version of The Rains Came? But for whatever reason Amazon doesn't. I would grade the PQ quality about a "C" for the Amazon version.
I agree completely. My equipment seems to favor Vudu actually, and I only use Prime to stream things on the service already. I never purchase digital streams through Prime.Amazon is my least favorite service PQ-wise. I think both, iTunes and Vudu are superior in that regard.

I suspect it's that title and "The Gunfighter".Twilight Time's FB page indicates "...look for more intriguing Peck TT releases later this year."
The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit?
