I've been in eager anticipation of this show since I first heard it was coming to Netflix. I read the source novel by Richard K. Morgan back when it was first published in 2003 and I've revisited the novel at least two or three times in the past decade.
I watched the first two episodes earlier...
Imagine if “Mad Men” was about a washed up actor from a ‘90s sitcom. And the actor is a horse. And the whole thing is animated. But it’s as biting and incisive as AMC’s Mad Men. When it’s not being a completely ridiculous cartoon.
And J.K.Simmons plays a turtle. And Margo Martindale plays...
With season two being released yesterday, I thought I'd search the forum for a thread on this show and I'm surprised I couldn't find one.
It took me two days to watch the first season last year, and the past two days to watch season two.
I really like the premise so far and the acting has...
Is anyone watching this?
I'm a sucker for a decent western, and this qualifies. The opening title sequence and music by T. Bone Burnett definitely tries to set a "Deadwood" vibe. Okay, right up front it's no "Deadwood," but it's beautifully shot in the scenic vistas of New Mexico, they...
Many people complain that downloads from Netflix are interrupted or lost! Would like as many Comcast users to comment on what Router they have and any problems or solutions that corrected their problems. I know about Netgear NDR3700, Asus N56U as being many peoples favorites. Would like feedback...
This showed up on Netflix last weekend in uhd and it looks amazing. The resolution is crystal clear ( but still looks like film), and the colors are stunning. Its such a bright, colorful film. It doesn't appear to have any HDR, but still pops. If this were released on disc it would be a day...
I'm thinking of subscribing to Netflix for some of their exclusive shows like The Defenders, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and etc. I might also use it to watch some movies that I might not want to buy on Blu-ray or 4K/UHD disc. My questions are the following about their Premium...
“Disney to offer two streaming services and end its movie distribution agreement with Netflix”

Looks like it is going to be created by Netflix. Looks like the producers of Expanse are involved. Could be interesting.

Surprised there's no thread for this yet given it has apparently become one of the most popular and buzzed about Netflix series yet. I finished it last night – had planned to watch two more episodes but instead watched the last 5 of the 13 total shows.
For the uninitiated, the series is about...

Netflix Unveils 2017 Line-Up of Recommended TVs
Netflix has unveiled its 2017 line-up of ‘recommended TVs’ that it says offer a superior Netflix viewing experience.
The streaming video company has named three new models as the first Netflix-recommended TVs of the year: the 2017...
From the /Film article:
"Netflix plans to explore creating mobile-specific cuts of its original movies and TV shows, which could transform your experience based on the device you’re viewing it on. Is this the evolution of how we consume non-interactive narrative stories…or is this the pan and...
Is wonderful. AMAZING coloring, as good as "How to train your dragon" graphics, and the best bass I have ever heard in a TV show, let alone one aimed primarily at kids.
Don't miss it just cause it's ostensibly a kids TV show. If you like HTTYD or similar movies you will love TH!
Kelsey...
I binged Netflix's new original, "The OA" today.
I might liken it to Miyazaki films which inhabit their own space, with elements outside our conventional storytelling approaches, and plotting flaws, and yet are brilliant and moving films.
I loved it. It isn't for everyone, and there are good...
This is disappointing.

As of January 1, I look to be cancelling my subscription to Netflix. There'll still be a little bit of classic TV, but it looks like anything associated with Universal is a goner. Emergency!, The A-Team, Battlestar Galactica, The Incredible Hulk, and The Rockford Files are all leaving. They've...
I watched this movie yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't a complete sci-fi cheese fest like I thought it was going to be after reading about how this was to be a big screen movie but got pulled and went straight to Netflix.
HD streams of The Rockford Files, Murder She Wrote, and The Incredible Hulk are leaving Netflix on January 1st, 2017.
Fortunately, The Incredible Hulk is available on Blu-Ray from the UK. The Rockford Files and Murder She Wrote have no blu-ray releases yet.
The first British-American co-production to be produced exclusively for Netflix, "The Crown" is The Queen screenwriter Peter Morgan's ambitious project to dramatically retell the entirety of Queen Elizabeth II's reign. Three-time Oscar nominee Stephen Daldry is the producing director for the...
Six year old unit plays regular TV just fine. However when trying to watch a movie on the DVD I just get a blue screen. When switching to Netflix all works fine until a movie is selected and it will start and run for exactly 3 seconds. The DVD player works fine on different TV and Netflix...
Starring:
Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, reprising his role from the second season of the Netflix original series "Marvel’s Daredevil."
Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, also reprising her "Daredevil" role.
Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Frank’s Castle’s best friend from his days in the Special...
All thirteen episodes of "Marvel's Iron Fist" will go live on Netflix on March 17, 2017.
The latest Marvel/Netflix collaboration stars recent "Game of Thrones" victim Finn Jones as Daniel Rand, who wields the awesome power of the titular, fiery Iron Fist. Another "Game of Thrones" alum...
Just finished watching S5. Pretty good follow up to S4 although slightly below it in terms of "it's so good I could not turn it off". Plus I wanted to better savor each episode. Going to be a long wait until the next:(
I believe the theme can be summed up in a sentence used several times ( and...
It has finally happened. Buffy is now on Netflix in high definition. And mother of mercy, it is an absolute mess. Now, I would be a bit upset for any show to be treated this way(every show even the ones I don't care for deserve to look their best) but Buffy just happens to be one of my...
