HI,
This probably sounds daft. But, I am going to use the subwoofer out on my amp to feed another amp to drive the subwoofer the second amp(driving the woofer) is a Stero/proligic I know that I need a splitter, But should I split at the sourse side and run two cables or run one cable and split at the destination amp? Will there be any gain to this or is the less cables the best?
thanks
Phillip

Electrically-speaking, it doesn’t matter – either method accomplishes the same thing. Practically-speaking, splitting at the source adds the price of extra cabling.

By the way, be sure and set the Dolby Pro-Logic receiver to by-pass, or stereo mode. If it’s set to DPL you probably will get no signal to the sub.
