I'm using WinDVD, and I get no picture on all copyrighted discs. My video card has a TV Out but I'm not even using it. I'm just trying to view a normal disc. Is there a way to fix this? I've written to InterVideo but so far got no response.

Hi Kyle

Are you using the latest drivers for your video card? Here are the system requirements from Intervideo WinDVD #5 below:

Intel CPU with 350 MHz and MMX, or AMD CPU with 450 MHz and 3Dnow!
DVD-ROM drive
VGA graphics card with hardware overlay support (See WinDVD Graphic Chipset FAQ for more details.)
For TV output, the VGA card needs Macrovision support in order to display copyrighted DVD content.
64 MB system memory
50 MB available hard drive space
Microsoft DirectX 8.1 or greater enabled graphics subsystem
(for your convenience, this will be installed if not present on the machine).
Audio subsystem that supports up to 48Khz (or greater) stereo playback.

I hope this help! Good luck.

Yes I'm using the newest NVidia drivers. Version 5.3.0.3. I've tried on two computers using the same video card. I'm almost positive it's my card and just a simple setting somewhere I'm missing but I just can't seem to pinpoint it.

When viewed on a TV or PC monitor?

I'm guessing a pc monitor...

Which Nvidia card? Not that I think it'll matter much...:)
