My early-to-mid teen years, it was Elizabeth Shue, Phoebe Cates, Nastassja Kinski, Carrie Fisher, and Linda Fiorentino (Guess I liked them more than twice my age ).
My late-teen/early-twenties years included Louise Jameson (Leela from Doctor Who), Katy Manning (Jo Grant, also from Doctor Who), Sarah Sutton (Nyssa, ALSO from Doctor Who), Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi, from Star Trek: The Next Generation), Sydney Penny (her more mature years she looks sweet, but I really liked her innocence in Hypersapien: People from Another Star -- a guilty pleasure, I admit; I just ignore the abominable acting/script/just-everything-else-about-this-movie ), Julia Roberts, Mare Winningham...oh, and singers Eithne ni Bhraonnain (Enya) and Maire ni Bhraonnain (lead singer of Clannad, sister to Enya), Loreena McKennitt, and Karen Matheson (lead singer of Capercaillie).
Nowadays, it's Julia Roberts, Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman, Leelee Sobieski, Alyson Hannigan, Marissa Tomei, Andie McDowell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (though the appeal of those last 2 has worn off a bit), and still Elizabeth Shue; I'm sure there are others I've forgotten. And still the singer Eithne ni Bhraonnain brings a flutter to my heart; Hayashibara Megumi is another talented singer who has lately grabbed the attention of my starry eyes.
