Speaking of AOR, I did watch the Exhausted DVD (the John Holmes docu. on which Boogie Nights is based), and it showed serious signs of Pan & Scan -- the edges of the credits are cut off!
BTW, this DVD does have a commentary track which is quite interesting. Does any one have examples of good commentaries in this um...field?

The Nutech DTS discs have been rather disappointing, though "Peek of Pandora" starring Pandora Peaks does have an interesting multichannel music mix. It's also got a 2nd camera angle that runs through the entire thing; basically it was shot with 2 video cameras at the same time.
A great classic porn disc is "Easy", from 1978, which includes a commentary by porn 'historian' Jim Holliday (which I'm sure is his real name!) and the ENTIRE movie DUBBED in Spanish, which is as hilarious as you could possibly imagine! Even the, um, action scenes have the voices dubbed, which must be heard to be believed! They claim this is 'multi-angle' but they just zoom in a bit and flip the picture backwards to provide a second viewing angle.

I believe PTA based Boogie Nights off of his own mockumentary "The Dirk Diggler Story" (which is astounding for a high school student, but then he had friends with money and access to an AVID). Or did he base The Dirk Diggler Story off of the John Holmes feature?
