Where are the Anamorphic ADULT DVD's? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if anyone has found a source or studio that has high quality anamorphic adult DVD's. On a 65" widescreen they all show the poor mpeg encoding and have too many digital artifacts. If anyone knows of pristine adult DVD's and where I can get my grubs on them let me know!

Well, I'll answer this as seriously as possible
Most porn is shot on BetaSP at best. Probably many features are being shot on DV. They shoot a 4:3 frame. Now I don't know how they show up in the theater, but I'm guessing it's going to stay that way for a long, long time
Oh, and porn is made on the cheap in all ways, so I couldn't expect the "C*mterion Collection" any time soon

are both 16x9 enhanced and have DD 5.1 tracks.
Blake still shoots all of his stuff on film as far as I know although a lot of pro and consumer grade digtial video cameras now have anamorphic modes.

I just wanted to clarify that these are softcore movies. Andrew Blake used to make great hard flicks, like "Night Trips" and "Secrets," but lately he seems to have lost his edge.

Keep in mind that the porno MOVIE is sadly a dead artform. Porn theaters haven't been showing 35mm film for over 15 years; the few that are still around are just using video projectors. Even if a current production is shot on film, it's still going straight to video- there won't be any release prints made of it. The old movies from the 70's and 80's look and sound much more like REAL movies compared to today's stuff. I think John Holmes directed a film called "Eruption" that was filmed in 2.35 cinemascope- don't know if that's actually available in widescreen on any video format.

Does anyone live near a porno theater anymore? I ask because I cannot possibly understand why anyone would choose to go and buy a ticket and sit down in a theater with other men for a communal masturbation experience. With the advent of home video, I thought it rendered every porno house basically obsolete.

The one remaining porn theater in Sacramento (formerly part of the Pussycat chain) was shut down for a while last year because of prostitutes conducting business there. I don't see the point of going to a theater to watch video, there must be other stuff that keeps them in business these days

No they aren't. While his latest flicks are tamer than most porn they do feature the all the penetration and CS action that you would find in a regular porn movie.
They are absolutely X-rated.
Not to argue but I just didn't want anyone to order them thinking that they were getting cable-edited or playboy type material.
