Michael,
Was that an off the cuff joke or a challenge?

Oh come on...if I wanted to get the boot, I'd make sure I got my money's worth first. A banning by an off-the-cuff remark is not a proper way to go out.
About two years ago, I remember seeing a certain gentleman posting here quite frequently. Can't remember his name, and I wish the hell I could. But in his sig, he placed an image of himself (he wore glasses) and to the side, he had his name and underneath that the words, "Cancer Patient."
Then, all of a sudden, he ceased posting. It doesn't take much effort to come to a grim conclusion about him. (I believe he was from Tennessee.)
I was debating about replying to this thread about this person, Jonathan Gross. I was wondering what had happened to him. I remember his signature had a link to his home page.
Well, I am sorry to say that I found the page and Jonathan lost his battle with cancer.
Yes we know what happened to them.
Ah so that explains Ryan LB, vanishing halfway through those tournaments. I knew Mr. Hill got the boot because the word BANNED was in his profile and his post count was erased.
But with Ryan, It was like he just stopped posting. According to his profile he was still a member, So many of us kept waiting for him to return and a few where even getting a little concerned that something bad may have happened to him.
I don't debate the decision or even care to know why he was booted. But I am curious as to why some axed members get listed as banned while others don't?
