I think a lot of today's television advertisements are very clever/funny! The Aflac duck is quite good I think. And the Hank Aaron/Barry Bonds ad is first-rate too, don't you agree? :)
Of course, a lot of older ones are worth viewing as well....
Who remembers the great Norelco ads from the 1960's/1970's at Christmastime? I always knew it was getting close to Christmas when we turned on the TV and saw Santa riding across that bridge aboard his Norelco electric razor! :)
The best commercial during the approx. 54-year history of the television medium is ....... ???

My favorite greatest commercial was in spanish. Unfortunatley this was before I could speak spanish and so had no idea as to what the commercial was trying to sell me  . But it did include Santa Claus riding a rocket-powered recliner.
Second best was a Coke commercial where you see the back of a barn, time lapsing day into night, back into day, all the while hearing "whirrrr, click. whirrrr, click. whirrrr, click". Finally it shows the source of the noise, a man trying to feed a dollar into a Coke machine, only to have it continually spit back out. The machine finally takes the dollar, the man presses the button for the Coke, and the machine spits his dollar out.:D

"Looks like a poll ... sounds like a poll..."

Hold tight, and let's take a little trip to "Polls"!

I'm still partial to the Metropolis homage, 1984 Macintosh commercial.

The first WWf super Bowl commercial. Here is a quote from it. "We never use sex to sell our products" then you see two people having sex in the backround. Just too funny.

"Who am I?"

"You're the trainer."

"And who is he?"

"You're the coach."

"And who are you?"

"I am Batman."

The first of a hysterical set of Snickers commercials revolving around athletics. Also famous for poor-spelling groundskeeper's desperate plee: "Great coogily-moogily."

I feel a song coming on:

Hershey is- real milk chocolate, I love that Hershey bar!

Hershey is- that something special no matter where you are!

Anytime you want delicious chocolate, there's no need to go looking very far- Hershey's great!

Cause Hershey is, the great American, great American chocolate bar!

Another song :)
As a matter of fact I had to pick between three.
Second runner-up: I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Wiener
First runner-up: My Bologna has a first name, it's O-S-C-A-R
and my choice
Hot dogs. Armour hot dogs.
What kind of kids love armour hot dogs?
Big kids, little kids, kids who climb on rocks
Fat kids, skinny kids, even kids with chickenpox
love hot dogs, armour hot dogs
The dogs kids love to bite.

I am quite fond of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercials on the Miami spanish channel. Ay!
I liked the ESPN commercial when they were talking about making the commentaries for the Sportscenter DVD...
"Lots of women find me really sexy..."
"See... the ball is in, I already knew that..."
"I didn't like my hair on this day... I got rid of that guy..."
:D
