Hey be nice, i bought those on a poor Army pvt's pay like 7 years ago. Plan to purchase a full Swans or Paradigm setup (still on the fence) with an SVS sub in the next month or two.
It took me some time ( months ) like the rest of us to make a decision on what speakers to buy. Now throw in the fact of being married makes it worse ( speakers size) .
I had it down to 3 sets of speakers and did the best thing i took her with me ( lol ). I find that making the spouse part of the decision process worked well. I got what I wanted and she got to hear first first hand how it will sound ,( it's a plus she like loud music ). she just hates loud movies ,( so yes i get caught raising the volume when in the quiet parts like the rest of us). Ok so here they are .
FRONTS-------- nht evolution t5 system
CENTER-------- nht evolution m5
REARS----------nht evolutoin m5
SURROUND BACK--nht sb1 times 2

Now speakers are a personal preference but this is the clearest system i have ever heard. The louder is get the clearer it sounds.
Mirage OM 10 front Mirage om 5 center floor standing celestion speakers. Hope to upgrade to b and w all around, hopefully 603 for subwoofer velodyne ct-100
Tommy_E,which B&O old speakers,(out of curiosity).
I had S45's I think, bought with the 4000 processor. Anyway it had a teak or rosewood finish and 8 FM presets. I bought them in Toronto in 79. The woofer went on one of them and a guy in England wanted to buy the other woofer last year.
I told him if he paid for shipping he could have it for nothing because I think the other one just dried out. It certainly wasn't from long hrs of rough play.
My last response to this question was a couple of years back so here's an update.
Fronts: Totem Model 1 Signatures including the Signature
Center.
Rears: Totem Model 1 Bi-Wireable but not Sigs.
Rears B: Axiom Qs4 Dipoles
Effects: Monitor Audio Bronze B1's for DD-EX and DTS-ES
SUB: DefTech SuperCube II
For HIREZ music,I only use the Totems + Sub and set my reciever to Pure Direct which defeats any video circuitry.
For Home Theatre, whether its HDTV or DVDs all speakers are incurred.
Frank, I really like the ATI, my speakers are 4 ohm and the amp never runs more then just warm, not bad for almost 400 watts per side. The sound is great also, open and effortless.
Sending you a link with ATI test, it won't let me link it here.
