Hi all,
I went into the inquire into the 3801 and 3802 today at Sound Advice here in Tampa. They gave me the price of $799 for a floor model 3801 and $999 for a new-in-box 3802. I think I could get them probably to do $1000 out-the-door, tax included for the 3802, which basically comes to about $940. Is this as good of a deal as you guys who have already bought one are getting? Do you see the prices falling drastically anytime soon?
Thanks, Aaron

Matt,
Great price. Is it a new, factory sealed A stock item?
Is the USA warranty card included?

Tom,
It came w/everything the package says it should. I've got mine hooked up and it's great. MY local store wouldn't go any lower than $900 for a floor model 3801 then I found these guys (they also show 3801's for $711)and jumped at it.
My only complaints:
it wasn't double boxed and
measly 3 day return policy
But I rolled the dice and it all worked out

Luciano,
Can you please email me the local store in NJ where you bought the 3802 at that price. I would like to do a price match with my dealer.
Do they have a sales flyer or website advertising that price? Also are they authorized Denon dealers.
Thanks,
Gil

Anyone know why the 3801 is rising in price on some of the e-tailers sites? A few weeks ago, it could be had at Crazy Eddies or Moreaudiovideo for as little as $650, today, the lowest price is $790, wonder what gives? I figured prices would go down with the rollout of the 3802.

Did anyone get it from an authorized dealer? I don't think moreaudiovideo.com is one. I can't find them on Denon's website.
What are the authorized dealers charging? Where?
Thanks.

I've found that the authorized dealers in my area are charging $1199. They really aren't budging from that price, either.

I looked for a 3801 locally but all I could find were open box demos, and I'm done with that.
So I started looking on the web and found moreaudiovideo.com as well, but they were also out of stock of the 3801's and after speaking to someone there they told me they would not be getting anymore.
He sold me a 3802 for $799 and I expect to recive it on monday or tuesday.
