wav to mp3? (1 Viewer)

Hi all. I borrowed a friend's voice recorder the other day. It made a .wav ile which I was able to transfer to my computer's hard drive. What program do I need to convert it to an .mp3 or whatever format so I can burn the file to cd and play it in a car/computer/whatever? Thanks!

If you want to burn to an audio CD, then leave it wav. If you want to burn it as data (you have a mp3 player in the car)-- one of a dozen program can be used- I use CDEX for ripping and converting-- some use EAC.
