Hi guys-need a little help with my new Onkyo 702.The volume control goes from 1-99,I dont get any sound until @49-50-while it is loud at 99 it should still be audible below 50,right?Here's a list of other components-TV,Hitachi ultravision 53":component video,analog audio-apex dvd:s-video,digital audio-cablebox,svideo,analog audio{still cant get it to work with the digital cable!?}Speakers Infinity Primus 150's,front,side&rear also using 1 as a center until I get my primus 25 center in the mail.Using 14 ga speaker wire. Thanks

Nope. My experience with Onkyo receivers is that reference is around 85 (depending on calibration) and audibility starts around 45-50.

Have you calibrated your system yet? Calibrating would let you know exactly how many dB your system is putting out, regardless of the volume setting.
