Any word if either of these gems from 1981 will EVER make it to DVD?

    Ed,

I'd be the first in line for True Confessions. Unfortunately, I had little hope in MGM releasing this title and now that Sony has their mits on it, I have lost all hope...

I thought there was talk about Warner releasing Lumet films. I know that SE's of NETWORK and DOG DAY AFTERNOON are on tap before the middle of next year. Maybe they will add PRINCE OF THE CITY and perhaps GARBO TALKS to the mix.

Ah, Herb! Your words are a dagger in my heart! I'll ask my mother to light an extra candle in church & maybe we'll be 1 & 2 in line someday...

And finally it's coming, along with The Hill. The only downer is that it looks like it's coming in 2007!

Odd thing is, wasn't TRUE CONFESSIONS suppose to be coming out from MGM back around October, but was cancelled, just like PAPER LIONS? I know amazon still has a listing for it.
