We are a gnats whisker away from cancelling DTV after being a customer for about 20 years. Prices are way too high and I’ve considering others options, most likely Xfnity. With a 2 year agreement I will pay less for cable and broadband then I do for DTV only. The broadband will be 100mbps vs the 24 I’m getting now.

Is the Edge shipping now? It also seems like the cable version and OTA version only do cable or OTA, which means you’d better know what you want when you but it. Is that correct, no box to do both?

We’ve been with DTV so long, we first had a TiVo and bought the lifetime service contract for it. It shows on our bill. Our hope we can get the transferred to a new TiVo.
