Call me provincial, but I think the default time should be CST and NOT GMT.

Er wow. New look, though I had to go and get my password all over again. *sigh*.
Anyhow, just like to say that GMT doesn't seem that bad a default to me. ;)

GMT is set by vBulletin. They use that as a default as they do not use Daylight Savings time and it is a more accurate way of setting the general time. So everyone's time is set according to their own in relation to Zulu Time.

You might want to add a "set your time zone warning" to the notice. I was from Casablanca. :)

Finally, :) this is the feature I missed most in UBB. Having your own time displayed makes it a lot easier to browse the forum.

Guys,
I'm showing: It is now 09:43 PM your time
1) it's wrong 5 hours (im in EST and the time zone is set right locally) It's 4:43 PM here. Course you prolly know about this (see title :)
2) Would a 24 clock i.e. 21:43 be more appropo?
as an aside, it's pretty depressing to be greeted with:

As I have said in other posts..go to the User Control Panel and set the Options and Profile to those things, like the timezone settings, for your account there.
