Do I need a specific sub cable? My receiver has the sub out and i currently have a monster sub cable connecting the 2. I am asking this question as I am thinking of relocating the sub and those longer cables are expensive. Just wondering if there were less expensive options. Also if I want to hook up 2 subs can I use a Y cable as my receiver only has 1 sub out?

Yes, but keep in mind that for the most part, if you locate your two subs in different parts of the room, you could end up with "less" bass as the low freqs cancel each other out.
