I know I've seen the answer to this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it now. My equipment cabinet sit's along the side wall and is angled away from the seating area so that it's difficult to reach with the remote from some seats. I've seen remote extenders, or devices to deflect the remote signals from the front of the room back to the cabinet. I've checked Ratshack, but couldn't find one. Where could I find one of these, and what's the best solution?

Thanks. Barry.

Barry,

Checked out Ratshacks webpage and found two items for you:

Catalog Numbers:

980-0234: Powermid IR extender set

15-1959: Same item with ratshacks name on it

They both sell for $49.99. Hope this helps!

Barry,

Tim's recommendation will work great. You could take a look at smarthome.com and find the stuff a bit cheaper than ratshack. There are several alternatives (powermid, IR543) or better yet give them a call -- there customer service is excellent.
