What is the trick to getting the PS2 to save your DVD settings? I've changed the sharpness settings & dvd presentation size to 16:9, but everytime I start up the PS2, the settings have reverted to the defaults. Note: I don't have the remote, so I'm using the original drivers.

Thanks,
Dave

All I can think of is: do you have a memory card inserted? I believe this is where settings are saved.

I don't remember if my settings used to save or not before I got the remote, but I suggest you buy the remote. It's worth the $20.

Found it: (good ol' Google to the rescue!) After changing the settings, you need to eject a DVD before resetting/powering down. Not exactly an intuitive process, but it works...
