The teaser trailer certainly got me groovin', and the director of the hilarious Undercover Brother, Malcolm D. Lee, is behind the camera. However, the teaser only mentioned "the director of The Best Man," which I haven't seen. I loved how there wasn't any dialogue (with one minor exception) or voice-over in the teaser, an uncommon trait for trailers for a movie in this genre. I'll probably check this out on DVD. EDIT: Ugh. The official site lists the release date as September 16th. September isn't a good month for new releases. I hope this isn't another You Got Served. But, Malcolm is behind it, so I've got some faith. EDIT 2: A Yahoo! article states that the release date was bumped up to July 1st.
