rear center speaker (1 Viewer)

i have a yamaha htr5560 a/v. i bought it in the states. when we transfered house the remote for the unit got lost. i tried writting yamaha but they do not ship outside u.s. i live in manila,philippines and most if not all dvd's here are 5.1 digital surround or dts. theres a certain button in its remote that would make my rear center sound even if dvd disc is 5.1. is there any way i could make my rear center sound?

I don't have that receiver, but I have a JVC 6.1 receiver that does the same thing. It's called ES Matrix. You should have a button on receiver to activate it. Mine sets it to either EX/ES auto, on or off.
