EDIT: Oops, never mind. I don't know.
Looks to me like an extra bold version of Clarendon.
At least, that's the name I know it as.
I'll be able to check it out at work tomorrow.
If you don't have it, I could e-mail it to you.
Thats a great banner. Where did you find it? I want to sign up and be part of the campaign!
"He made the tough decisions in Grosse Pointe Blank. He couldn't be bought in Eight Men Out. He's cooler than John Malkovich. And we like his politics so far."
They no longer have stickers and buttons (which they offered initially)- but they still have groovy $25 T-shirts. I'm having an embroidered patch made for my backpack (I already bought a shirt and the action pack), and would like to match their font.
The campaign is a bit of a farse- really designed as a generic catchall to get youth more involved in politics. But they have a cool logo- and it's a neat inside joke.
Clarendon's very close, but it's not quite it. It'll do, but the serif "tails" of Clarendon are much thinner than the banner.
I think the exact font used is Giza 2, by Font Bureau.
Here's a link to the PDF sample of the Giza family:
Speaking of fonts, has anyone run accross a Superman font?
