Q: Center Channel Support (1 Viewer)

Folks,

I have encountered a problem with my center channel placement on top of my new Hitachi 65T500.

I currently have my Energy AC-300 sitting on top, which is causing a bowing effect to the wood and screen.

Any suggestions to alleviating the weight are appreciated, especially solutions that look really good! Would a shelf across the top distribute the weight to the stronger end-points?

I bought a Sanus center channel for both my Sony HD RPTV as well as my WEGA in the bedroom. Comp USA sells it as well as Crutchfield . It has two rear outrigger type legs so it should help distribute the weight between the front and back case of the TV.
