Picked up this unit last week and I'm happy with it so far, but something has me concerned.
I have read both here and other forums from other 811 owners that their average master volume setting is around -40 or even -60
Using Avia pink noise to calibrate at 75db (-10dB below reference) I have to turn the master voulme all the way up to -24!
My room is 21' long x 15' wide x 7' high and I am using JBL Studio Series speakers. Is everybody else's room really small? Does everyone else listen to movies extremely quiet? Or is there perhaps something wrong with my unit?
Any ideas?
Thanks.

That sounds about right. To calibrate at reference, I go up to -11 with the front-left channel at +0.
