Pending reviews, I will certainly be picking up 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' and 'Grease'. Most likely I will buy 'Saturday Night Fever' too, if I can find a good deal on it.

'Major League' and 'Wayne's World' and 'Wayne's World 2' will need to be sub-$15 before I bite.

Overall, a very promising slate of catalog titles from Paramount.

Sure wish they would've added Planes, Trains, & Automobiles in this set but perhaps this will arrive later this year around thanksgiving?

Love that movie!

They're probably saving the Trek films for their own announcement. (Or - wishful thinking - they delayed the films so they can redo the FX for The Motion Picture.)

Terrible release list. Hopefully they'll improve upon that before May hits.

Wow! Grease at last. How long ago was the first hint that Grease would be released on HD?

Me too, what's up with that? I could wait if they're doing an extra special restoration. But if it is coming this year, you'd think it would be released in time for Passover, and for that to happen, I would think there would be more info about it by now if not an official announcement. The Digital Bits reported on this back on November 3, 2008.

Amazon is apparently posting these titles for preorder so other
websites are posting the release news.

I am certain we will be posting official press releases for these
titles very shortly.

I'll be first on line for Saturday Night Fever one of my
all-time favorite movies.

Geez... what's with all the comedies? I don't really think these are going to be especially impressive of BRD. I'm passing on all of them.

I would like to see Saturday Night Fever issued with both the PG and R cuts included. While some might see the PG version as censorship, the real reasons behind it were to increase the audience share during the disco era; hence it contains more dance footage.

Stephen,

I wrote Paramount months back and suggested exactly that.

They never got back to me which is typical for most studios these days.

I know Ron will hit me on the head ;) but Ive never seen Saturday Night Fever. Whats the difference between the 2 versions? Are they both worth watching?

Yes I will pick it up to finally see it.
