Onkyo THX Ultra 2 upgrade (1 Viewer)

I know the upgrade just came out, but I was wondering if anyone has purchased the upgrade for the TX-DS989. If anyone has, was it a smooth ride or was the process a pain? Also, does it sound a lot better with the upgrades? I know this is probably too early for anyone to answer, but I'd appreciate any comments about it. Thanks!

Hi David,
So far it has been very smooth. I placed my order last week, and had received my box on Wednesday!
It is packed up and will ship out to the service center today. I hope to have it back in my rack by next weekend.
One word of advice. Create an acount at Onkyo's "Shop Onkyo" site first and get some bonus points that you can use toward merchandise (and the upgrade). Then enter in the registration for your receiver under your account and you will receive some additional bonus points.
After those two steps are done, then place your order for UPGRADE-2 and use your bonus points toward the order.
Once the order is placed, you will receive an additional 25 bonus points for placing the order. Buy yourself a nice T-shirt or something!
Watch the forum for feedback on the new modifications. I know I will be posting, and there are others who may be getting their receiver back yet this week!
