The Gangster/Noir Challenge sounds good. I still have all three Warner Film Noir collections on my shelf still shrinkwrapped. :D

Sorry I'm late to the party with an update. I ultimately got to watch far more than the 14 films I'm currently credited with, but far less than I intended to watch (things got busy around here in Oct, and I had to work on Halloween night, as well.

Ratings:

**** Excellent
*** Good
** Fair
* Poor
BOMB The Pits

Fun Factor - an additional rating, for films rated below ***, when overall entertainment value trumps their obvious shortcomings.

Peter, why so bashful with your siganture? Maybe a few more lists.

You might consult the HTF signature rules. I'm pretty sure you've obliterated them.

No early arrival on my end, er, my wife's end...um, that's a bad way of wording it. ;)

Still on track for November 20th - my mother-in-law's birthday. (October 31 is my father-in-law's birthday.)

We're still on track for our November 16th date. We were at the premiere for Lions For Lambs on Sunday night and thought that would have been an awesome opportunity for an early arrival for our son - particularly at the after party (sorry Robert, it's our party now!), but alas, the young lad decided to stay in his warm, amniotic home. We just felt fortunate that he didn't decide to come earlier in the day when we would have had to try and cross town during the marathon to get to the hospital! Yikes!

John - best to you and your wife. Exciting times!

Cheers,

Jason

I havetn been following this thread, so I dont know if this has been mentioned.

But looking up to see if No Country For Old men was playing at my local theater I saw this.

Horrorfest After Dark...

So you guys may want to check out Lowes in your area.

Pretty cool a major chain of theaters is showing cult horrors.

My son was born November 20, 6lbs 9.6oz, 19.5 inches long. He and his mother are doing very well. Jason - did yours arrive on the 16th?

Jaden Elijah Roer was born on November 24th at 3:08pm where he promptly took his first piss all over everybody, beginning what I hope to be a life filled with practical jokes and mischief! He weighed 7lbs 14ounces and was 19.75 inches in length. He's an absolutely amazing young lad. We love him dearly.

Congrats to you, John, on your healthy arrival! It's an exciting time!

Cheers,

Jason
