I know that this is new for 2002 but...
Has anyone had a chance to take a look at the STR-DE985 receiver from Sony?
I am considering this setup for my new HT along with the SAV-E535H for the speakers. I had considered the new Kenwood system, but I am beginning to think that this system will not meet up to its previous year models (at least from the initial specs I have seen). Since a lot of folks in here have recomended getting separate components away, I thought that this looked to be a good setup?
I got the following price quote from www.video-direct.com;
$349.00 for the receiver
$289.00 for the 5-piece speaker set
$59.00 for a 6th speaker (for 6.1)
Anyone ordered anything from this place?
Are theses prices pretty good?
They seem to be lowest I have found but may not have all the info.
If anyone has suggestion for a comparable setup please let me know. Thanks
