My new tuner (1 Viewer)

I bought a used "Nikko FAM 15." It appears to be from the late 70's or so, based on the circuits inside.

It has a green backlight for the dial which is fade-able using the tab style push down button on the front.

It works perfectly and sounds GREAT. Does anyone know what "multiplex" or FM MPX means? Or when exactly this came out?

I did not need a tuner, since I use an HT receiver, but it was only 2 BUCKS!

Im using Nikko's for my sub amps, early 80's about. Ive heard them compared to yamahas but I dont know much about their tuners. I havent had any problems with my Nikko's
