friends,
just got my first home theater (without a big tv - so might call it home entertainment !) .....was confused for some time after hearing so many quality speakers...i was severely restricted by my budget so got for myself what my wallet allowed...i am really happy with what i got..setup everything yesterday..and saw pearl harbour on it...wow...it was really good....every penny i spent was worth it....i got B&W speakers....602.5(fronts)...600(rears) & lcr60(center)....all starting ones in the 600 line up but i am happy.....powered it up using yamaha av 730 receiver and yamaha dvds530.....the sound is really smooth and nice ..is not really loud on your ears (even when turned up ) and just what i wanted....so long..thanx for sharing all your knowledge....

Congrats on your new setup. I have seen a lot of HT on here with small TV's but awesome sound. Don't think just cause your TV is not huge or you don't have a projector it is not a HT. That is what you watch you movies on so it's your HT. You can't buy everything at once so your got speakers first now if you want a big TV get that next. After you get your new big TV you might decide it's time for new speakers. Ht is a long process of continuous upgrading. Have fun with your new system.
