Terrific little Brit film. Anyone know if this DVD is actually coming out in the U.S.? Amazon seems to think so. I was considering ordering the R2 version.

Looks promising; thanks for the alert. I guess we'll know soon enough if this is on MGM's release schedule. (Amazon cites MGM as the studio in the "technical information" about the disc)
About the R2 disc: a trustworthy friend of mine has it, is familiar with how the movie looks, and says the video quality is only mediocore on the disc. Also, it is not anamorphic, but of course I have no idea right now if the R1 disc will be or not.
