I'm new here. Thanks for your attention.

I'm in the process of setting up a new HT around a Stewart Grayhawk Screen, InFocus LP770, and Denon 3802. I'm rather space limited (especially in front, were I only have about 5" of available depth, and cannot do in-walls), so I decided to go with the AR Phantom series, which both sounded good, and fit well into the room.

I know that this AR series is discontinued, but I was able to find all of the pieces, the 8.3 mains, 252c Center, 5.2 surround, and S112PS sub. Found 'em all, that is, until I ordered them. Now all I have are the 8.3 mains and the sub (which sound fine), and the others have evaporated.

I know that I want to timbre match, but what am I going to find which will match, especially the 8.3s? Ultimately, I will need to demo something at home, but what can I do to get close before I take that step?

Or, does anyone know of a 252c?

Scott,

Dang I wish I knew what to recommend demoing to match the
8.3's I have not had the chance to hear any of the Phantom
Line but they are suposed to sound pretty fantastic for
such a low footprint..

Honestly check Ebay do a search for "Acoustic Research"
and then Sort by highest price there is usually something
from the phantom line on there.. Also check www.accessories4less.com

They are an Autohorized AR net dealer and may have something.

Good luck!
