Looking for projector any suggestions? (1 Viewer)

I'm helping my church set up a front projector video system and I'd like your suggetions on a projector. It needs to be bright (3000 lumens range), I'd like for it to also have a zoom and keystoning, XGA would be preferable. It also needs to be somewhat portable because we rent a space to meet so it will be setup and taken down on a weekly basis. We'll mostly be running powerpoint and maybe some dvd. Budget is in the $8,000 range.
Plan to run it off of a laptop, which I'm also looking into. Thinking of buying a Dell Inspiron 8100
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appericated.

Ok so here's a few models I've ran across in my research:

Sanyo PCC-XP30

Proxima DP8000

Epson Powerlite 7700p

Does anyone have any toughts or experience with any of these?

Also is there any one company out there who's considered the best at front projection?
