I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before. A search on the title revealed nothing. Will this film ever be offered in anamorphic WS? The present copy isn't and it's not very impressive. I would think it deserves better.

Yes it has been mentioned before. I started a thread about it & I have been calling for a S.E. for almost two years to coincide with the 60th anniversary of D-Day.

Bundle a SE on Longest Day with the re-release of SPR and you have a powerful combo box. It will never happen, but I can envision the set flying off shelves.
