Why is it becoming more difficult to obtain new 4k releases? (1 Viewer)

As bad as the situation is in the US it's even worse in Canada. Amazon.ca didn't make THE WAY WE WERE available for pre-order. I have a pre-order of SLEEPY HOLLOW 4k UHD that they seem to have no interest in shipping.

In a curious turn of events, I actually found the Sleepy Hollow 4K at Walmart. I would also recommend Sunrise Records.

Walmart will probably follow suit in next couple of years and when they do, that will truly be the end of physical media. Target gave up for the most part over the last 4-5 years.

The opposite for me. I prefer to buy discs (or anything else, for that matter) in person, in a brick'n'mortar store. I do buy a number of things on-line, but (generally speaking) only if that's my only option.

The last disc I bought in a store was The Big Country DVD when that first came out; i.e. decades ago!
