As the end of season five, the Legends -- after an action scene featuring Shake Weights and pogo sticks that was choreographed to "The Thong Song" and featured Sisqo as himself -- destroyed the Loom of Fate and defeated the ancient Fates. Before they could bask in their victory, however, their captain Sara Lance was abducted by aliens. Elsewhere, the Zari from the original timeline voluntarily returned to the totem in order to save her brother, who was only alive in the new timeline, and Mick Rory made meaningful progress repairing his relationship with the daughter that resulted from a one-night stand during one of his forays into the past.
Casting news:
The show has already been renewed for a seventh season, which Dominic Purcell has hinted will be his last:

Casting news:
- Shayan Sobhian, who plays Zari's laid back pot-smoking brother Behrad, has been promoted to series regular.
- Olivia Swann, who plays somewhat redeemed hellion Astra Logue, has also been promoted to series regular.
- Adam Tsekhman, who plays the long-suffering and frequently humiliated time agent turned magician's apprentice Gary, has also been promoted to series regular.
- Lisseth Chavez ("Chicago P.D.") has joined the cast in the series regular role of Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz, a "tough and self-sufficient" young woman who "lives off the grid, devising ingenious tech for the detection of — and defense against — space aliens. And while some might call her paranoid, she calls it being prepared. A survivor of a childhood alien encounter, Spooner now believes she has the ability to communicate telepathically with aliens — making her the perfect recruit for ... the Legends".
- Raffi Barsoumian will recur as Bishop, "a once-in-a-generation genius" who has "seen the end of the world, and he thinks he has a way to save it." "But despite his purported love of humanity, Bishop isn’t great with people. He pretends to be a groovy bon vivant with a taste for cognac and a killer vinyl collection, but in fact, he’s a sadistic egomaniac who treats all living creatures — human and alien alike — as his scientific playthings."
- David Ramsey, as part of his wide-ranging Arrowverse deal, will play a mystery role in the upcoming season that is being kept under wraps.
- Aliyah O’Brien will recur as Kayla, "a fearsome warrior with a high body count and low patience for human incompetence. She’ll be put through her paces working with and against the Legends as she’s certainly not used to messing anything up much less for the better."
