Any feedback on the Kenwood THX receiver VR 6070?

I have looked at this unit and the B & K. I know there is a huge price difference, but since my HT will be primarily used for DVD's, is it worth spending the additional $$$
on the B & K?

Appreciate all opinions.

I have the VR 6070 and I don't think there is anywhere near the difference in performance between the B&K compared to the difference in price. Here is probably the best example I can give you. I had been using a 425 watt per channel separate power amp for my main L&R. When I took the amp out and just used the Kenwood amp, I noticed no difference in the sound quality. This is especially true if you have a powered sub.

Speaking of subs, you would probably get a lot more bang for your buck if you upgrade your sub with the difference between the VR and the B&K. HSU VT-2 for $450-$500 is a fine sub. HSU VT-3 for around $800 will give you even more. One of the box subs from SVS is a good one too.
