Maybe because the film's owner doesn't think a release will be a profitable endeavor?
I actually heard that it's because Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman each own half of the film, and you know what that means. :)

Or maybe because it was such a horrible film, not to mention a horrible 3-D flick. As for 3-D, my vote still goes for Friday the 13th Part 3-D as the best one I've ever seen.

You need to see more 3D movies then. ;)I'd say the best is "Dial M for Murder."
And Universal has been handling the Jaws series one a year so far, so maybe they'll still announce it for July or August. (Remember, Goodtimes did Jaws 4, not Universal).

You beat me to it! One caveat, however: given 90% of the titles on the shelves I know that that is not a reason to not issue a title...

Was a good step above part 4 though...

No, the best 3D was Count Floyd's "Monster Chiller Horror Theater" (SCTV)
