Ok, I have just recently purchased a Mitsubishi 55" 16:9 HDTV. I'm impressed by the picture and am moving into a new apartment (next door) with a bigger living room. Great, right? My question is this:
How far away is the optimal viewing distance for this TV?
My living room's dimensions are approx. 19'x 15'. While this isn't a huge deal, I'm currently about 6-7' away, and it's just a bit too close. Thanks in advance for the help...

My room is 19x20, the TV is 65" widescreen, and I sit 8-9 feet away from it (closer when not in the sweet spot) with no problems whatsoever.
It's all a matter of personal taste.
