eARC splitter (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone, Here's my question. I've a 6 month old LG Oled TV and want to hook it up to a sound bar (Yamaha SR-30A) . I have an Atmos system set up but I don't want to have it on all the time. I would like to use the eARC from the TV to sound bar, but since it's already being used by the Receiver, I was wondering if it's possible to split the eArc, so I can switch between the two systems, and before we get into just use the optical, I've got it hooked up that way now, but I can't use the TV remote. Anyway that's all I want to do just switch between the two systems. Sounds easy enough but I've been reading you can't split eARC so does that mean you can't use a AB switcher either since it's HDMI only? Thanks in advance!
