I'm planning on running a pair of Studio 40's, 20's and a studio CC using an HK AVR525. Do you guys think this is enough power? If it isn't, how do I add more in addition to the HK? I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to amps, etc. Thanks

How big is the room? ((How high and does it open into other rooms?)

What % music vs HT

and of course how loud do you like things.

Do you have a sub?

You can never havwe enough power but my gut recation is that you should be fine at moderate -medium klevels in an average size room.

The room is 18'x26x10, fairly large, and I like my movies pretty loud. I'd say 90/10 HT/music. How would I add more power if I wanted to?

And how do I know when I need more power? Will the amp simply give out if I push it too hard?
