I'm shopping for an HDMI switch for my older Panasonic TH-50PX600U which runs at 1366 x 768 (specs here:)
I searched and found a bunch of things around HDMI switches, but since it is a combo of an older TV with HTPC and laptops I wanted to see if there are any gotcha's.
Current state:
Future state:
Is there anything I should look out for choosing the swtich?
I was looking at these:
monoprice 4 port switch
monoprice 5 port switch
Do the source devices sync up OK through the switch to the TV? The computer really wants to do 1080p, and it sometimes is a chore to get them to stay at 1366x768. I know the TV is old, but it is still a beautiful picture.
Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
edit: I also have digital output from the TV back to my AV receiver. My receiver pre-dates HDMI so I'd like to keep this as-is for the time being.

Current state:
- Comcast DVR HDMI to input 1
- Sony blu-ray HDMI to input 2
- Wii-U connected to component inputs.
- Logitech Harmony remote does all the switching magic.
Future state:
- Comcast DVR on HDM1
- HDMI switch to input 2 switching the following:
- Sony Blu Ray
- HTPC with HDMI (either embedded graphics or a GTX 760)
- Extra HDMI input for connecting a laptop.
- (maybe) change Wii U to HDMI
