I just got a 4k Samsung tv and wanted to buy a up scaling dvd player and denon receiver. I read about hdmi 2.0 and I am wondering just what effect the new standard will have on these products. Would just a software update to these units work or will the companies have to market new hardware? Thanks,Don

If you are worried about HDMI 2.0. Don't buy anything till at least March. It might be out then on AVR(on something) and BD players(whatever the "name" will be for 4K disc media).
