anyone know if this receiver has a timer? like for an alarm
Nope. Only a sleep timer that will allow you to designate a certain amount of time before the receiver shuts of. With alarm clocks selling for as little as $5.00, why would you use a receiver for an alarm?
With clock radios selling for as little as $10, why does anyone need a tuner?
True. Plus, the clock radio has a speaker, too. Bonus!
Seriously, if I had the cash (and if the equipment manufacturers supported this) , my ideal setup would probably involve using "Zone 2" as a stereo bedroom setup. It would be nice to be able to wake up to a "high fidelity" version of Morning Edition.
Check out the Intercepter Radio by Boston Acoustics - at BB for $159 - a great alternative!! Good luck!
Ooh. HD Radio. Spiffy!. And now back to our regularly scheduled H/K thread.
Jeremy, Time to get up.........
I was being semi serious, though the HD receptor hasn't yet been released.
