Ok my calendar is filling in pretty quickly for November.

Right now the 15th or the 22nd is still open.

If we meet on the 15th - the Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions combo sounds good.

If we meet on the 22nd any interest in a TTT:EE viewing?

Ok, I'm leaning towards a Nov 22nd date.

For one thing, I plan on seeing Matrix 3 at the IMAX in Woodbridge. I'm not happy with the quality of the regular commercial theaters.

So we can do a Two Towers: EE viewing on my system. I've also got Fellowship EE as well.

If anyone would like to bring equipment to try out or show off, feel free to do so.

Maybe we should start a confirmed list.

Please remember, I live in Orangeville, about 30 minutes north of Brampton.

I have seven chairs and can add a few more, so I have to limit the meet to about 10 people, unless Wayne Murphy joins in and and wishes to co-host.

The 22nd sounds good to me at this point. The Two Towers: EE sounds great. If I can supply any DVDs, just let me know (the link to them is in my sig).

The way your meets have gone in the past, does everyone bring something (i.e. food or drinks) or do you usually have food ordered in, or go out?

EDIT: I also wanted to see if you guys were interested in possibly swapping some DVDs. I've got a bunch of them here (good stuff!) that I'd be happy to bring along.

Jeremy, I've got a huge collection of DVD's, so the odds are, I've probably got it.

Generally, we go to a restaurant for a 1pm or so lunch (usually Montana's), then we order in for dinner in the early evening.

You're more than welcome to bring DVD's for swapping.

I'm also going to go see The Matrix in Imax. i wasn't really planning on it but a few weeks ago I got to go to Imax Headquarters where they gave us a demonstration of their DMR process and I was really impressed with it. So now I'm all set for the Matrix.

Hi all,

Does any one who will be coming have a JVC D-Theater D-VHS VCR to bring over and check out on my projector? I'd love to see how much better it looks than DVD and HD from my BEV 6000.

Speaking of which, one other thing we'll be able to do is check out CBC's first HD broadcast of a hockey game featuring the Heritage Classic game between Montreal and Edmonton. Should be interesting to see how they do.

If there's interest, it would be neat to do a regular vs superbit portion on the day. I have a few superbit titles but only Starship Troopers in both original and SB release. I have:

The Fifth Element: Superbit (of course)
Resident Evil: Superbit
Starship Troopers (both original and SB)
