Feet or no feet on a sub? (1 Viewer)

I have a Klipsch SW8 sub and it currently has no feet/spikes. It's currently sitting on the carpet. I was wondering if you use your sub with feet/spikes or not and what impact has it had either way. I current debating ordering some out not. I know it will make a diffenrnce in room size/matter and all thought but just to get a general idea.

I would guess that the closer a front-firing sub is to the ground the heavier the bass feels?

No idea, just a wild guess, but that's a very interesting question...
