The movies I buy must meet the following: OARS, Decent transfer and will I watch it again. If not, then its a renter. But I rent only OARS. I find the more movies you have the more picky one gets. Not like the old days, any DVD Movie would do.

I guess you weren't around for laserdiscs, they only had 30 minutes to an hour a side. If you didn't have a player that could automatically switch sides, you had to flip them yourself. Some films, especially those in CAV, took up three to four discs, two sides each disc.
That was then, this is now. The storage capacity of DVD's is far beyond LD and it is wrong that a film like Goodfellas is a dual-sided disc. I could give two hoots that laserdiscs required 2 or 3 discs for a complete film and it's not a relevant argument as to why some DVD's are dual-sided.
